The company runs two transfer stations, in Hampshire. Both sites are regulated and registered to handle hazardous waste materials, including asbestos.

Concrete, brick, timber, steel, even plasterboard can be recycled and used again, providing an environmentally friendly solution to waste disposal.
With a modern fleet of mobile on-site crushing equipment, R Collard can also provide a recycling solution without having to transport material to and from the project, saving on road haulage and lowering your overall environmental impact.

R Collard operates an Urban Quarry at its Eversley head office, with the capacity to crush, sort, refine and store up to 50,000 tonnes of secondary aggregate and British Standard topsoil, which is then remarketed to the construction and building industries.

The demolition industry can provide a ready source of high quality secondary aggregates, reducing the need for extensive quarrying and the consumption of natural resources. R Collard has made a substantial investment in the purpose-built crushing, sorting and storage yard. More than 20,000m2 sq m of concrete hard standing provides storage for up to 50,000 tonnes of aggregate and soils, in all grades and sizes, which can be used as reblended fill material and as aggregate for use in concrete.

The company offers a wide range of materials, from British Standard certified topsoil to bagged aggregates. These can be delivered directly to your site, using R Collard’s extensive skip fleet, or for larger quantities the firm’s eight-wheel tipper trucks, or collected directly from the Urban Quarry.

This low cost reblended fill and sub-base material greatly reduces the amount of waste being sent to landfill, providing an environmentally friendly alternative to quarried materials.
