The primary objective of our Plant & Transport department is to support all group company operations by providing commercially effective vehicles, plant & specialist equipment.
It is their job to ensure all group businesses have the safe, compliant and fit for purpose tools needed to deliver successful results for their clients and the clients’ customers, keeping sites safe, roads in good condition and transport links active.
We also supply the construction and civil engineering sectors with specialist plant and vehicle hire solutions. Hire can include the services of experienced, fully trained plant operators.
Vehicle Fleet
We have an impressive fleet of over 150 safe and specialist vehicles used by our trained drivers. We maintain and repair all our vehicles in-house to ensure that we provide a reliable service for our customers.
We aim to replace all our vehicles every five years to ensure that our fleet sustains the lowest emissions in the industry. Our vehicles also comply with London Low Emission Zone Regulations and are EURO VI compliant. Our Gold accreditation from FORS, demonstrates our commitment to fleet safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.
Plant Fleet
We have an impressive fleet of over 100 items of mobile plant including excavators, shovels, dump trucks, shredders, crushers and screeners. We also operate fixed recycling plants including a wash plant, a fixed crushing line, ready mix concrete plants and the latest materials recovery facilities incorporating air density separation and eddy current separators.
All plant is operated by our experienced and highly trained workforce. We maintain and repair all our plant in-house from our workshops in Eversley and Andover and across multiple sites to ensure that we maintain a reliable service to our customers. We aim to replace all our mobile plant every five years or after a maximum of 10,000 hours to ensure that our fleet maintains the lowest emissions in the industry.
