HR & Recruitment Administrator

Collard Group have an exciting new opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator (or aspiring HR Advisor) to join our HR team.

We are looking for an individual who is motivated, enthusiastic and a team-player, with strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail to join our team. This is an excellent career development opportunity for an HR Administrator, Administrator or Apprentice, who is looking to build upon their current HR or recruitment skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting daily administrative duties in the HR department and supporting with HR projects.
  • Managing recruitment advertising (Indeed, LinkedIn and other platforms),
  • Maintaining the approved agency list ensuring agreements are in place with competitive terms.
  • Conducting the applicant sift process and liaising with managers and applicants throughout the recruitment process.
  • Contract administration, including preparation of offer letters, contracts of employment and future changes to terms
  • Ensuring that the on boarding process is complete for all new starters, including completing compliance and verification checks on right to work, inductions and the transfer of key information for payroll.
  • Maintaining the HR systems by ensuring all data, personnel files and all documentation is uploaded and up to date.

The Successful Candidate will:

  • A minimum of 1 years’ previous experience in either HR, recruitment or administration (desirable)
  • GCSE grades A-C in English or Maths (essential)
  • Working with and maintaining databases (desirable)
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality on sensitive HR matters and data
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good oral and written skills, with attention to detail including checking the spelling, grammar and formatting of documents
  • Must be able to work as part of a team with good communication and inter-personal
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with key stake holders
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential with a minimum intermediate level of Microsoft Word
