At R Collard, we were delighted to have been awarded Phase 9 of the former Deepcut Barracks in Camberley. In 1900, Deepcut Barracks was established on the land encompassing the site. It was a training barracks for infantry and artillery units.
The contract included a significant asbestos removal package, which was carried out by our in house team, Amiante STR. Our demolition department then demolished all buildings down to ground, removing all foundations to 2m deep and removal of hardstandings as well as crushing suitable arising’s onsite to 6F2.
Following on from the demolition package, will be our Earthworks and Civils team taking over to carry out a circa 20,000m3 cut and fill.
