Following our successful performance on the initial demolition works, R Collard were awarded the subsequent enabling and earthworks package. This comprised of the cut and fill to formation level and the installation of 400mm of engineered fill in preparation for a new football pitch.
The cut and fill to formation consisted of circa 3000m3 of material placement, to achieve levels as per the design drawings issued with compaction achieving the destined CBR level at formation. Surface water drainage was adapted and where needed, new installed.
