R. Collard Limited successfully completed the full demolition of seven two-storey office blocks, preparing the site for its future development.

The project included essential enabling works such as hoarding installation and tree protection, followed by a comprehensive soft strip and asbestos removal process.

The team carried out full demolition, including the removal of slabs and foundations, with proof digging up to 2.5m to eliminate any underground obstructions. Additionally, foul and storm drainage systems were capped for reuse in the upcoming construction phase.

To maximise sustainability, hard-core materials were crushed to 6F2, and concrete from slabs and arisings was processed into Type 1 material for on-site reuse.

This efficient and environmentally responsible approach ensured the site was fully prepared for the next phase of development.
