We’re always pleased to support our local communities and charitable causes of all sizes and this year is no exception.
As a proud Eversley-based company, this season we’re delighted to once again be one of the main sponsors of our local football club, Aldershot Town FC. The club is just minutes away from our head office with many of our colleagues supporting the team’s progress week in, week out. At a recent game at home against Rochdale, James Chillery our Managing Director of our Aggregates Division, was there and accepted the signed shirt from the man of the match, Cameron Hargreaves.
We’ve also sponsored a team of 15 runners from Farnborough Rugby Club who recently took part in the Wokingham Half Marathon on Sunday 22nd February. The team ran in memory of Dean, their friend and long-standing member of the club, who sadly lost his battle with cancer 18 months ago. Collectively they raised more than £4,500 for Live Life Give Life – an organ donation awareness charity – and we were happy to be able to help them reach this incredible total.
