Collard wastes no time this summer season!

Summer means it’s peak events season for our dedicated waste management team.

Every year we provide comprehensive and reliable waste management services to support some of the South’s biggest festivals as well as village fairs and community events. With our large fleet of vehicles and mobile plant, we can operate at scale to manage, collect and transport waste to one of our nine recycling centres across Southern England.

Here’s a flavour of just some of our programme of summer events this year.

Winchfield Festival – 19^th-28^th June

A growing local festival supporting children’s musical education in North Hampshire held across nine days. 2026 is the second year that we’ve delivered waste management services for the event.

Gig on the Green, Yateley – 27^th & 28^th June 2026

A popular community music event featuring a selection of the UK’s best tribute acts plus local musical talent. We’ve supported this event for the past five years, providing waste management and site support services.

Concert on the Green, Elvetham Heath – 27^th June

A local free community concert event. This year is the first time Collard has provided waste management services for this event.

Reading Borough Council Water Fest & Children’s Festival – 27^th June

A series of community-focused family events organised by Reading Borough Council. Our team is providing waste management services for the second consecutive year, helping to support the council’s sustainability and recycling objectives.

Farnborough International Airshow 2026 – 20^th-24^th July

One of the world’s premier aerospace and aviation events, attracting industry leaders, exhibitors, and visitors from across the globe. Held biennially at Farnborough Airport, the event requires extensive operational and environmental support.

Our dedicated team provides a full waste management service for both the Airshow and Farnborough Airport, delivering comprehensive waste collection, recycling, and site support throughout the event. The 2026 Airshow will be the third consecutive occasion that Collard has been appointed to support the event, reflecting the strength of our service delivery and operational capability.

Boomtown Fair – 12^th-16^th August

A major immersive music and arts festival with attendance typically exceeding 60,000 visitors. We’ve successfully delivered waste management services for three Boomtown events to date, supporting the extensive infrastructure and operational requirements of the festival.

Reading Festival – 27^th-30^th August

One of the UK’s largest and most recognised music festivals, attracting over 100,000 attendees annually. We’ve provided waste management services for the festival for the past five years, supporting event operations and recycling initiatives across the site.

Mucky Weekender, Winchester – 10^th-12^th September

An independent music, comedy, and family festival. The Collard Andover depot has provided waste management services for the event on three previous occasions and will continue its support for the 2026 festival.

Guildford Beer Festival – 19^th-20^th September     

A popular regional beer festival celebrating local and national breweries. We’ll be supporting the event for the second time this year, providing waste management and recycling services.
