R Collard has provided professional and efficient strip-out of buildings back to shell or frame in preparation for structural demolition or refurbishment for many years.

How we can help

Typically using a combination of mechanical and manual techniques our soft-strip service will remove all types of non-structural items from buildings including:

False ceilings
Raised floors
Partition walls
Redundant M&E equipment (e.g. heating, pipework, air-conditioning, lighting etc)
Data cabling
Furniture
Ductwork and risers
Lifts and shafts
Floor/wall coverings
Cladding

We provide an all-encompassing strip-out service from planning to arranging service disconnections, surveying for asbestos and safe removal of hazardous items. Additional care and precautions are taken to segregate works from occupied areas to ensure safety and minimise disruption.

Our strip-out service is fully sustainable: pre-demolition audits will identify any items we can salvage for re-use. Other non-hazardous items will be processed at our MRFs for recycling. Our comprehensive documentation and industry-leading recycling rates ensure compliance with regulations and environmental best-practice.
