Site / Project Managers (Demolition)

Due to a number of new contracts being secured, Collard have a number of opportunities for Site and Project Managers with demolition experience across the South East and potentially further afield.

In this role you will be responsible for the on-site management of projects ensuring delivery in a safe and efficient manner, on time and within budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the productivity of the workforce under your leadership
  • Managing various demolition activities, soft strip, non-licensed asbestos removal, structural demolition, reduce dig, crushing and pile mat installations etc
  • Ensuring that the site is managed compliantly within Company management systems and legislation
  • Recording and monitoring the quality of the works through progressive stages of the test and inspection plans; the objective being to produce a quality job, first time.
  • Working towards and reporting against target construction programmes available from contract information
  • Providing details for the contracts manager to be able to produce short-term programmes for specific work areas
  • Ensuring all clients’ expectations are achieved or exceeded
  • Communicating any changes/updates directly with members of the site team
  • Communicating any issues regarding delays to your line manager, surveyor and client
  • Management of any site staff absence
  • HSQE compliance and completing all site management HSQE inspections and reports.

The Successful candidate will have:

  • CCDO Black Managers Card
  • First Aid Training
  • Asbestos Awareness, Non – licensed Asbestos removal training
  • Temporary Works Coordination (1 day)
  • Must hold a full driving UK licence
  • Membership to Institution of Demolition Engineers (or working towards achieving this) Desirable
  • Fire marshal
