Mental Health Awareness at Collard Group

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re celebrating our 17 trained mental health first aiders and putting the spotlight on the support we offer our team.

Still, too often mental health is treated as a taboo subject – something not to be discussed, especially at work, yet talking to colleagues and friends can so often help, which is why we’re proud to have so many mental health first aiders across our sites.

We also recently launched an employee health and wellbeing hub.

Collard colleagues have access to free and confidential helplines for advice, guidance or counselling, through our Employee Assistance Programmes – ‘Smart Health’ and ‘Breeze’ as well as Mates in Mind, Samaritans, Mind, NHS GP services and Calm.
