Collard Racing news - May 2018

  • Rob Collard has been busy completing high speed passenger laps at Donington in the BMW M140i and then racing at Donington in very difficult conditions. Rob still managed to be the highest scoring BMW and rear wheel drive driver with a 13th, 10th and 4th place narrowly missing out on a podium. The next round of the BTCC is at Thruxton on 27th May.
     
  • Ricky Collard experienced a difficult weekend in the M6 GT3 at Monza. He was very fast in practice and qualifying but a mechanical failure ended his racing. Ricky has also been busy doing high speed passenger laps in the M4 DTM at Hockenheim. Next up for Rick is Blancpain at Silverstone on 19th / 20th May.
     
  • Jordan Collard continued his impressive start to the season with a 4th place in race one and a second place in race two at Rockingham Motor Speedway winning the Rookie class in both races which leaves him in second place in the Championship. Jordan had the fastest lap in race one securing extra points which leaves him comfortably ahead of third place and in a very strong position. Jordan is also leading the Rookie Championship. The next outing for Jordan will be on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th May at Snetterton where the youngest racing Collard will be celebrating his 18th birthday.
