Collard Racing news - September 2018

Date: 17/09/2018

Ricky Collard enjoyed his most successful race weekend to date at Silverstone this weekend with an excellent starting position on the front row for race one, just missing out on pole by 18th of a second. He drove an excellent race to secure third and his first podium position. Ricky then continued his excellent form finishing 4th in race two which was a fantastic result considering the success ballast he was carrying and he narrowly missed out on a second podium. Race 3 was an extremely difficult race with Ricky carrying success ballast and starting on the hard tyres for the first time but he still managed to finish 10th which helped him secure the Jack Sears Trophy for the highest placed Rookie driver over the weekend and he was also the highest BMW driver after all three races.

Jordan Collard raced at Brands Hatch in the Mini Festival where he secured pole position and had the fastest lap, however a penalty in the race saw him lose his win and he is currently lying third in the Championship with one round remaining at Donington this coming weekend.
