New Document Management System

The implementation of our management software has started. The new software from RedSky IT should transform the management of documents within the demolition business and significantly reduce the amount of paperwork that we produce. Our site supervisors will have portable personal computers that will allow them to quickly access information that is held on our server (drawings and training documents, for example). They will also complete and submit our standard forms from the device. Handwritten timesheets, that are either posted or delivered by hand, will also become a thing of the past. This new software will no doubt benefit all, through improving efficiency and delivering an improved demolition service for our customers.

Excellent feedback from Ockford Ridge

We have received some fantastic feedback from Mark Constable, Housing Development Officer at Waverley Borough Council who commented on R Collard's exemplary completion of a project and stated that at a meeting of the Community Consultative Group (comprising residents, tenants, ward councillors and others) the performance of our demolition manager, Dave Arnold, was singled out for praise.

It was recorded that Dave managed the site in an excellent manner, conducting daily toolbox talks, addressing residents concerns about dust suppression during the exceptionally hot and dry summer. Mark also stated that "we did not receive one complaint during the whole demolition contract. This is quite an achievement, given the propensity nowadays for people to focus on the negatives rather than the positives.” He went on to state that “R Collard completed the whole project a week early and under budget, facilitating in the process a significant advance in our separate party wall negotiations by your willingness to go that extra mile/tonne for us.” Well done to Dave and the demolition team.
