Early works for North West Distributor Road, Wokingham

Our early works contract for Wokingham Council has got off to a flying start.

This new earthworks contract is for the North West Distributor Road, West of Old Forest Road which will provide access to the new development of 4000 new homes in Wokingham by 2026.

This new road is proposed to be constructed to the north of Wokingham town centre and will extend from Old Forest Road in the east and tie into the existing Reading Road (A329) south of the M4 motorway.

The new distributor road will help to minimise the impact of increased traffic.

Waste management services for Southampton City Council

Our new three year contract with Southampton City Council Housing (SCC) Operation’s Team, in which we are supplying waste station and collection services has also got off to a great start.

As part of this new waste management contract which is of an estimated value of £100- 130k per annum, we will provide the Council's Housing Operation with a range of services including skips and roro’s for maintenance projects across the city and tipping facilities at our RBWS Nursling depot.

We have received excellent feedback from our client so far with Neil Cullen from Southampton City Council most recently expressing his thanks to our driver, Rob Grant, for the excellent service when collecting and returning an asbestos roll on/roll off. Neil said people generally only tend to complain when things go wrong but on this occasion he felt it was important to pass on his thanks to Rob for a first class service. With the permission of Southampton City Council, Rob unlocked and locked their depot gates safely, repositioned the container and made sure the keys and paperwork were returned. Great service delivered with ease and efficiency helped us secure this new three year contract and we look forward to continuing our excellent relationship with Southampton City Council in the future.
