Our Collard team had a flippin’ great time when they headed to Broad Street Mall to participate in Launchpad Reading’s Pancake Day fundraiser.
Our very own Zara Blake, Sammi Byer, James Weston and Jakub Wisniewski donned their best fancy dress outfits and flipped pancakes in relay races down Broad Street egged on by cheering crowds. After starting strong and winning the first heat, we were unfortunately knocked out in heat two, missing a place in the semi-finals, though it was a great day for all.
Their efforts helped raise vital funds to aid in preventing homelessness across Reading, and we’re thrilled to announce this totalled £235. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported our team, eggscellent work!
