With September here and summer fast becoming a memory, we look back at another busy summer period of supporting outdoor community events.
Over the August bank holiday weekend our teams were hard at work supporting the iconic Reading Festival for the ninth year in a row. Straight off the back of Boomtown Fair in Winchester, we seamlessly transitioned our services to Reading Festival where tens of thousands of music fans celebrated during the three-day event. We’re well-equipped to provide top-tier waste management services for major events in the UK, working with dozens of events organisers each summer and throughout the year.
As a family-owned business, we’re proud to play an active role in the communities we work in. This summer we provided waste services to our local village music festival, Gig on the Green in Yateley and helped to make sure St Mary’s Steam & Vintage Festival in Eversley was a success by providing a field for car parking. Back in June we were pleased to step in and support the Pinewood Park community clean-up day where we donated a skip free of charge.
We were one of the main sponsors of this year’s Barton Stacey Fete, which was a great day out for the community with a host of games, activities, and music. The fete was a big success, raising a grand total of £6,000 – and we’re proud to have played our part for the local community.
