It’s been a busy summer so far and we’re delighted to have been able to support several community events taking place in and around our local area.
We sponsored this year’s Elvetham Heath Parish Council Concert on the Green which saw more than 4,000 people come together for a day of live music, entertainment and family fun. We also sponsored the bar area at Barton Stacey Fete, which raised over £8,000 for charity – a record-breaking amount for the annual event – and supported the Gig on the Green community music event in Yateley at the end of June.
We were also proud to support the Rotary Hartley Wintney Festival, with proceeds helping St Michael’s Hospice this year, by providing covered skips and wheelie bins to help keep the event site clean throughout the day. It was a pleasure to support such a fantastic community event and contribute to an important cause.
As the official logistics partner for Thames Hospice’s Trunks Across the Thames trail, which officially opened to the public on Monday 13th July, our team gave up their Sunday afternoon and worked through to the early hours of Monday morning to ensure all 30 elephant sculptures were installed safely and on schedule. We’re incredibly proud to be part of such a worthwhile community initiative, helping bring this wonderful fundraising project to life.
Supporting local communities and events like this is something we’re passionate about and we look forward to supporting more local events over the summer.
