Demolition & Enabling – Why Collard?

Our contracting division delivers expert solutions for complex demolition and enabling works projects.

We stand out in a competitive market for our extensive experience, innovation, environmental integrity and family values. All supported by adopting a self-delivery philosophy in everything we do.

Built on a solid financial foundation backed by the strength of the wider Collard Group, you can rest assured that we’re set up for long-term success and stability. Our multi-million demolition and enabling works division is growing exponentially, allowing us to continually invest in our business to secure our future for decades to come.

An end-to end solution

Since 1994 we’ve expanded and adapted our operations to become an end-to-end enabling partner for construction projects nationwide and a one-stop-shop for our customers.

From the demolition of complex structures to the diversion of recycled materials back into a project – we can manage it all from start to finish. This is the circular economy in action and stops around 98% of waste material going to landfill every year all whilst reducing our carbon footprint.

We’re able to do this through our nine national recycling facilities, where we segregate and process construction and demolition waste – to providing these materials with a second life and to help protect the environment.

Our people

Our people make Collard what it is today – they’re at the heart of our business and success.

To provide the best possible service to our clients and customers – we attract talent from across the industry while developing our people and promoting from within.

Committed to zero harm

Our activities are often high-risk work that demands meticulous planning and execution by highly skilled and experienced professionals 100% committed to safe practices.

Our team is trained, accomplished, and fully equipped with the right tools to minimise and manage safety risks to protect people in and around your site.

Partnering with clients and customers

As a well-established business, we’ve built solid relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry bodies, which means we enjoy repeat business.

While we deliver most work in-house, our supply chain is integral to what we do. That’s why we go the extra mile to build loyalty and develop long-term relationships with all our supply chain partners.

Our commitment to zero waste to landfill and net zero

Collard recognises the urgency of the climate change agenda and has become a champion in decarbonising for a greener, more sustainable future.

As well as driving down our own carbon footprint, we work with clients and the supply chain closely to help everyone in the industry reach their net zero carbon targets. Maximising recycling and minimising waste to landfill rates plays a big part in carbon reduction plans.
