The site comprises of 4.3 hectares and is located just off of Old Bracknell Lane West, 300m to the south of the town centre.
The project involved the demolition of the existing buildings on site to allow for the erection of 7 new buildings comprising of 349 residential dwellings and commercial floor space.
The groundwork side of this project consisted of the construction of the foundation for the marketing suite including all remediation, groundworks, services, and storm and foul drainage.
The demolition phase included the soft-strip of the site, stock piling of materials for re-use, Asbestos Management, Remediation, Earthworks and Civils.
This phase included the demolition of a number of two and three storey structures, including associated foundations. The structures were heavily contaminated with asbestos-containing material, which were removed under licenced conditions by our in-house asbestos removal business Amiante STR.
