We’re committed to investing in our people, from those entering the workplace for the first time to people who are looking to progress up the career ladder.
That’s why we recently partnered with Emphasis HR & Training to deliver a management development training programme. Our first group attended the training session in November 2023, working with Jane Michel of Emphasis to gain practical, on-the-ground skills and knowledge on everything from improving communication and influencing people, to the art of delegation and objective setting.
The feedback from this first cohort was excellent, with our managers agreeing that being trained in these ‘soft skills’ as well as technical training is very beneficial.
In the next 12 months, 25 Collard managers will take part in the management development training. It’s all part of our commitment to being an industry leader in demolition and waste management, and our determination to always find ways to improve our service and business practices.
We’re looking forward to working with Jane and the team at Emphasis in the next year to upskill our managers and support our wider team.
