We’re delighted to have been selected by SSE Slough Multifuel Limited as one of just six principal partners to supply their brand new 60MW, 480k tonnes pa state-of-the-art energy from waste facility in Slough.
At Collard we have the capacity to process over 1 million tonnes of waste every year and we’re experts in repurposing almost all of it. We sort, segregate, recover and process commercial, domestic, construction and demolition waste to give it a second life.
A tiny fraction of the material we handle can’t be recycled and we’re delighted to be partnering with SSE Slough Multifuel Limited to divert it from landfill and use it to help power homes and businesses.
The facility will produce electricity and heat by burning refuse derived fuels made from various sources of municipal solid waste, commercial and industrial waste, and waste wood.
