What Can I Not Put Into My Skip?

The following items are not permitted in any skip or container:

Any type of battery
Any type of pressure vessel including aerosols, this includes gas bottles
Clinical waste
Fluorescent tubes
Food waste
Fridges and freezers
Hazardous materials (including asbestos)
Liquids (including fuels, oils, paint and solvents)
Televisions and monitors
Tyres

We allow 1 mattress per skip. Additional charges will apply for any of these waste types above.

Most driveways are suitable for skips, but thought should be given to the quality of the surface as lorries can be heavy. You may also have exposed drain covers, low branches or a restricted access. We encourage you to provide us with as much information as possible when ordering your skip.
