As part of Cazoo’s continued development works at their processing plant at Long Bennington, we undertook a programme of enabling works at the site including the construction of a 238 space car park.
The project consisted of the cut and fill of existing material, the import, placement and compaction of over 4,500m3 of fill material in the live environment of site. The construction of this car park was to provide 238 new parking spaces over an area of 9738m2, which allowed Cazoo Ltd to store vehicles safely for their 300 point inspections.
Our work as part of this civil engineering package formed part of the development programme for the site which we continued to assist the client with for all future works after having completed the first phase of this project. These works consisted of adding a further 74,000m3 of tarmacked hardstanding to provide the site with additional improved parking capacity.
Collard proactively ensured that the impacts of delivery schedules and activities did not impact the local infrastructure.
