The demolition project consisted of the demolition of the existing structures and ground remediation to make way for the development of a new housing estate. The onsite crushing process generated 1500m3 of 6f5 which was ready to reuse on site.

Collard formed the principal contractor for this demolition and asbestos removal project. We demolished the existing steel frame structures as well as the removal of the building foundations down to a depth of 2m.  The demolition and foundation removal generated hardcore which we repurposed for use on site by the client.

We successfully identified and segregated 250m3 of asbestos contaminated areas across the site. Furthermore, we collected and discarded hazardous material for safe disposal. For example, gas bottles and unidentified liquids and oils.
