Gold Standard

Date: 18/02/2021

The Collard Group’s gold certification against the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) has been renewed. The company, which operates a fleet of 140 vehicles, had its gold certification, the highest level available, re-confirmed following an audit in November 2021.

“We are extremely proud of our team who have worked tirelessly to retain our coveted FORS Gold accreditation, “ said Collard Group Fleet Manager, Roddy Taylor, “This re-certification confirms Collard Group’s place among an elite group of operators that boast exemplary levels of safety, efficiency and environmental awareness and demonstrates to our customers and supply chain our commitment to exceeding the transport industry’s highest standards.”

The company’s fleet consists of skip lorries, tippers, trailers, rolon-offs, grab lorries, artics and dustcarts among others.

Collard Group first gained FORS accreditation in 2015 and this is the third-consecutive year it has been certificated to the Gold standard.

FORS certification provides a number of benefits: while it is a mandatory requirement to work for a number of our clients the application of the disciplines involved has enabled us, through training and driver assessments, to reduce accidents, fuel consumption, pollution emissions, the carbon footprint of our operations as well as our insurance premiums.
