Collard were delighted to have successfully completed the demolition and enabling works at the Brentford Lock project.
The project involved the careful removal of two substantial steel frame structures, which were cantilevered over a live canal. The works were required to enable the construction of a new bus depot, footbridge across the river brent and the construction of 452 new homes as part of LB Hounslow’s waterside redevelopment scheme.
Over 3,000m3 of concrete arisings were sustainably recycled for future use by the following trades on the project.
