This project involved the demolition of all structures to 1m below ground level, apart from structure 3 which was fully demolished and removed.
Collards were responsible for the plugging and grouting of redundant below ground pipes. Where redundant pipework was not to be grouted, all open ends of redundant pipes were plugged with GEN4 mass concrete. We ensured all plant, panels, cabling etc were removed off site.
Additionally, we crushed all concrete waste to be used on-site as backfill for the demolished areas to reinstate ground level, where applicable.
