These works included the demolition of existing structures and ground remediation to make way for the development of new housing estate.
The project posed some significant challenges in regard of previous uses down through the years.
A number of processes were applied to the material found on site to minimise both the need for vehicle movement, and reducing the financial impact to the project.
A number of live services, both buried and overhead were identified during the pre-demolition audit. This pre planned activity allowed to site team to plan and negate the impact of these services on the program.
