This site is located at the former Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot, Berkshire, in close proximity to occupied residential properties, a doctors surgery and new remodelled hospital.
The works included the demolition of a large number of existing former hospital buildings to facilitate construction 230 new residential units. This included the removal of a significant amount of asbestos containing materials.
The demolition and asbestos removal phase further included a number of chimneys towers and an associated incinerator plant, removal of underground service ducts network which containing asbestos insulation, fuel tanks and chemicals.
