Having undertaken two previous phases on Inland Homes development on the former Ministry of Defence former school of languages at Wilton park, Collard were awarded the third phase, ensuring the continuity of approach on the project.
This phase included the demolition of a number of two and three storey structures, including associated foundations. The structures were heavily contaminated with asbestos contain material, which were removed under licenced conditions by our in-house asbestos removal business Aminate STR.
All construction waste was removed to one of our nine recycling facilities operated by our environmental business, which served to support our clients recycling and CO2 emissions targets.
Concrete demolition arisings were crushed on site, for reuse in the new construction further enhancing the recycling and reducing significantly the vehicle movements to and from site.
